Lauren Zurchin has been a photographer for over twelve years. Her favorite style of photography is posed portraiture, capturing the essence of a person through fun and creative poses and settings. She has lived in Utah and South Africa, traveled to New Zealand and the Caribbean, and has been through almost all fifty states.

In addition to photography and travel, Lauren is a lover of all the arts, dabbling in almost all forms at one time or another. For fun she is a self-professed bird nerd, having had the pleasure of working professionally as a bird trainer both in the states and overseas. She is also a writer of books for teens, currently working with an editor at a major publishing house on her first young adult series.
